Trekking Itinerary

Day 01 : Delhi Arrival

On arrival at Delhi airport meet Peak Adventure representative and transfer to pre booked hotel for overnight stay.

Day 02 : Delhi - Haridwar (By AC Train) - Rishikesh (24 kms/1 hrs)

In the morning take an AC train for Haridwar by 06:55 hrs. Arrival at Haridwar by 11:25 hrs. on arrival met Peak Adventure Mountain guide and drive to Rishikesh by car. Check in to hotel. Evening explore the religious town of Rishikesh, which is considered as town of saints and Sadhus. There are several ashrams and temples that add to a distinctive flavor of the town, The Ganges Aarti at ashrams is really worth it. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 03 : Rishikesh - Wan (215 kms/8-9 hrs)

After an early breakfast meet Peak Adventure Guide and drive towards Wan village via a holy confluences at Devprayag, Rudraprayag and Karnprayag Evening arrival in the village of Wan. Overnight in tents/guest house.

Day 04 : Wan - Bedni Bugyal (3350 mts/11000 ft)

The trail from the village of Wan is well laid and continues to the ridge called Rankiyadhar. From here it's a short descend to the river followed by a lengthy ascend to the meadows at Bedni. The total trek for the day is of 11 km and takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Bedni Bugyal, probably one of the best camping sites in the Garhwal Himalayas. Overnight in tents.

Day 05 : Bedni Bugyal

Rest day for acclimatization/ exploration. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 06 : Bedni Bugyal - Bagubassa (4100 mts/13450 ft)

In the morning trek to Bagubassa, it's a 10 kms trek which is on a well distinct trail. The trail starts with a gradual climb just above Bedni before it reaches ridge and gets flattened to Gairoli Patal. From here once again trail starts to ascend and reaches to the top of another ridge which is marked with the temple of Lord Ganesha. It's a easy walk of 1 kilometer to Bagubasa from here. Overnight in the tents.

Day 07 : Bagubassa - Roopkund (4450 mts/14600 ft) - Bedni Bugyal

From Bagubassa it's a gradual ascend which later turns to a steeper one as we reach closer to the lake. Later start trekking towards Bedni Bugyal. The total trek for the day is of 18 km and takes about 7-8 hours. Overnight in the tents.

Day 08: Bedni Bugyal - Wan (2436 mts/8000 ft)

Retrace your steps towards Wan. It's an easy and rhythmic descend and takes about 3-4 hrs. Overnight in the tents.

Day 09 : Wan - Sutol (2200 mts/7200 ft)

The trail from Wan ascends to the ridge top and further descends to the village of Sutol. The trek today is for 14 km (5-6 hrs) through one of the finest mixed forests in the entire Garhwal Himalayas with a good chance of spotting the barking deer. Overnight in tents.

Day 10 : Sutol - Ghunni (2550 mts/8415 ft)

The trail initially ascends and later becomes gradual to the village of Ghunni. The trek provides flavor of some of the remote Himalayan settlements. It's a trek of 16 km trek and takes around about 7-8 hrs. Overnight in the tents.

Day 11 : Ghunni - Jhinjhi

From Ghunni the trail winds up to the crest of the ridge just above the campsite and continues to climb to the Vinayak pass. From here it's a descend to the village of Jhinjhi. Overnight in the tents.

Day 12 : Jhinjhi - Pana (2450 mts/8085 ft)

From Jhinjhi the trail descends to Birahi Ganga. From here the trail starts to wind up to the ridge top. From here the trail becomes gradual to the village of Pana. The last stretch of the day ascends for a kilometer to the campsite above the village. Overnight in the tents.

Day 13 : Pana - Dakhwani (3300 mts/10890 ft)

Today the trail ascends above the campsite to reach the ridge. From here the trail flattens and starts descending to the meadows at sartoli. From here one can see Kuari Pass towering high. The trail continues to descend further to the side stream. Now the trail ascends and continues to another side tream under Dhakuani. After crossing the side stream there is short ascend to the campsite at Dhakuani. Overnight in the tents.

Day 14 : Dakhwani - Kuari Pass (3640 mts/11960 ft) - Khulara (3310 mts/10920 ft)

The trail above Dhakuani continues to climb to the pass. There are superb views of great Himalayan Peaks from the Pass. From the pass the trail continues to climb slightly to a hump before it starts to descend gradually towards Khulara. Overnight in the tents.

Day 15 : Khulara - Tapovan (2800 mts/9185 ft) - Joshimath (105 kms/5-6 hrs)

The easy morning starts with the descend to the village of Tapovan which is the road head. From here board the vehicles and continue driving towards Rudraprayag. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 16: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh

The day's drive is really gorgeous towards Rishikesh. The views driving down the valley are equally beautiful. Arrive, check into the hotel and overnight stay.

Day 17: Rishikesh - Haridwar - Delhi

In the morning transfer to Haridwar and from here catch an AC train for Delhi. Arrival at Delhi by afternoon and met Peak Adventure Executive and transfer to pre booked hotel. The day is free for relax. Overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Delhi Departure

Transfer to international airport according to your flight schedule.
